SM Solv GP Solvent is a dental solvent specifically designed for dissolving gutta-percha, a common root canal filling material, as well as zinc-oxide eugenol cements. It is primarily used during endodontic retreatment procedures to facilitate the removal of these materials from the root canal system, allowing for cleaning, shaping, and re-obturation.
